This programme seeks to promote out-of-classroom learning by showcasing campus from the perspective of its social clubs, island associations and the Guild of Students. Its coordination is primarily the responsibility of the UWI Student Guild with guidance from SAS. It brings together all the university’s clubs, island associations and societies to promote a different aspect of the campus community through the learning activities that take place outside the classroom. In addition to clubs and societies, students also benefit from the presence of corporate sponsors who offer promotional items and offer a variety of student deals.
The programme aims to:
Show that UWI is a place where there are many opportunities to develop and grow outside the classroom;
Expose students to the non-academic activities available on campus.
Guild Fest takes place from September 1st to 4th, 2015.
